Property
Transfer Policy Step
1:
District receives notification of property transfer no less than one week
prior to closing to schedule water service inspection, final read and meter
change out appointment. Step
2:
Owner/Agent advised of district requirements; A.
Water
service application to be filed by new owner prior to account transfer.
Please note: 1.
The new
owner must sign the application in person at the district office.
Water service applications cannot leave the office. 2.
No
facsimile transmissions of water service applications shall be permitted. 3.
No
affidavits authorizing an agent to sign on behalf of the owner shall be
permitted. Step
3:
District requirements must be satisfied for preparation of final bill and
transfer of account ownership. No
